What happens in the first session?
It’s a relaxed conversation. I’ll get to know you, what’s been going on, and what you’re hoping for. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready to.
Do I need to know what I want to talk about?
No. Many people start without a clear plan. You don’t need polished words or a perfect story—just a willingness to begin. We’ll uncover what you need as we go.
What’s it like to work with you?
Think of sessions as a calm, steady space where you can show up exactly as you are. I listen closely, offer gentle guidance, and help you make sense of what’s been feeling heavy or confusing. We figure things out together.
Do you offer in‐person sessions?
I offer Telehealth sessions only, so you can meet from wherever you’re most comfortable.
Who do you work with?
I work with adults 18 and older—people navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, boundaries, communication, or just feeling overwhelmed by life.
What insurance do you take?
I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, Cigna, Aetna, United Health Care, Priority Health, and UMR. I don’t accept Medicare or Medicaid.
Do you work with people from multicultural backgrounds?
Absolutely. I speak Arabic and understand what it’s like to move between cultures. All aspects of your identity are welcome and respected here.
What approaches do you use in therapy?
I blend Internal Family Systems, CBT, and DBT. In simple terms, that means we explore your inner world with curiosity, look at patterns that aren’t serving you, and build tools that help you feel more grounded and steady.
I’m nervous to start. Is that normal?
Completely. Most people feel that way at first. My job is to make the process feel easier, safer, and more comfortable—step by step.
What if I want to pay privately?
Self‐pay sessions are 120 per hour.
